It’s that time of year! If you want to get into the Halloween spirit, here are a few great witchy reads for you, listed by vibe. Obviously there are so many more that I haven’t included here, these are just a few I’ve enjoyed and could remember the titles of off the top of my head.

• Cozy, cheerful, and (slightly) romantic vibes: The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, by Sangu Mandanna
• For road trip/scavenger hunt/mystery vibes: VenCo, by Cherie Dimaline
• Sisters and suffrage: The Once and Future Witches, by Alix Harrow
• But really what if witches were real? Her Majesty’s Royal Coven, by Juno Dawson
• The rage of 1990s high school female athletes: We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry, which I’ve previously reviewed.
• This is more like battle between good and evil vibes but if you haven’t read Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett, you really should. (At least watch the Amazon miniseries, it’s got David Tennant and Michael Sheen.)
